Our litigation services are geared mainly towards acting for businesses and companies in connection with contractual disputes and negligence claims including claims for professional negligence.

At TKN we aim to work closely with our clients with a view to resolving their disputes as quickly and efficiently as possible. An early evaluation of your case and the applicable law will be undertaken with a view to assessing whether settlement can be achieved by direct negotiation or via a more structured process such as mediation or adjudication. Our aim is to achieve a cost-efficient and prompt outcome so that our clients can focus on more profitable areas of their businesses.

TKN not only has experience and expertise in dispute resolution but also in conducting litigation if settlement cannot be reached. We deal with cases in the Business and Property courts as well as in other courts and tribunals up and down the country. Your case will be handled by a senior lawyer who will provide a personal service and will be your point of contact for the duration of the case. You will receive regular updates and reports as the case progresses. Litigation can take many twists and turns and at TKN we pride ourselves on being able to meet those challenges as the case evolves.

TKN will also provide clear information on costs and an estimate will be provided before any work is undertaken.In appropriate cases we can act on a “no win no fee” basis or an alternative option would be a damages based agreement. This provides for our legal fees to be met by an agreed division of any damages recovered. All funding options will be fully explained as part of the overall service offered to TKN`s clients.

Although we act predominantly for commercial clients we also willingly accept instructions from individuals in connection with contractual disputes and we have expertise in employment law matters as well.
